Why Unclipped
What happens after the last use?
As a mountain guide, I have watched ropes and climbing skins accumulate over the years. Gear that had reached the end of its life in the mountains, but still carried too much history to simply be thrown away.
Unclipped grew from a simple question: what if the last use didn’t have to be the end?
We recover used mountain gear before it becomes waste and give it a new purpose. Back in the workshop, every piece is cleaned, shaped and remade by hand — keeping the colours, scars and traces of the mountains it came from.
